Undifferentiated

Undifferentiated: Cells that are still early in their development and haven’t specialized yet. They are also called stem cells. These undifferentiated cells can become other cell types that are needed in the body. They can also become cancerous. You may encounter the word “undifferentiated” when your dog’s pathology report comes back. Many cancer types can be undifferentiated, including leukemia and nasal tumors.
