Constipation

Constipation is the same for dogs as it is for humans: difficult and/or infrequent passage of stool. If your dog is constipated, you may see straining, or even hear a little whimper or cry as they try to defecate. The poop will be hard and probably small. If it has been more than two days since your dog has defecated, call your veterinarian for advice.
